How to Register for Parks and Recreation Programs
Registrations for Parks and Recreation activities are not taken over the phone. To register for a class or program, use one of the registration methods below, or call 812-349-3700 for other options.
Registration Options
- Register online any time.
Register in person at the Parks and Recreation office, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. located at:

Inclusion Services

Fee Waivers
- Any City of Bloomington, Indiana resident under the age of 17 yrs. may request a waiver of fees for admission to Bryan Park Pool or Mills Pool.
- Apply for a waiver of admission fees for Bryan Park Pool and Mills Pool.

Scholarships
- Apply for a youth scholarship for Parks and Recreation programs.
- Scholarship applications must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the first day of the program for which the scholarship is requested. Proof of income and Monroe County, Indiana residency is required.

Refunds
No refunds are provided after the first day of a program. All refunds are subject to a $2 administrative fee. If the $2 charge does not cover costs incurred by the Department, the refund may be pro-rated in addition to the $2 charge. There are no refunds on season passes. Full refunds are given for all classes cancelled by Parks and Recreation. Allow four weeks for refund requests to be processed.
Substitute Instructors
Parks and Recreation reserves the right to use substitute instructors and alternate facilities when necessary.
