Hockey Drop-Ins
The Frank Southern Ice Arena is open ONLY for general admission hockey during these scheduled times.
- Monday and Wednesday, 2:15-3:30 p.m.
- Thursday, 2:15-3:35 p.m.
- Friday: Noon-2 p.m.
General Admission: $10
Economy Pass: $85 (10 admissions, includes skate rental)
New Skate Sharpening: $10
Skate Sharpening: $6 and $7 (immediate service)
House Hockey
This instructional league at the Frank Southern Ice Arena is designed for beginners through advanced players and is perfect for elementary- and middle school-age kids ready to get on the ice. Players learn fundamental hockey skills, practice teamwork, and develop sportsmanship while competing in a fun, supportive local league. We make it easy for families new to hockey with helpful online resources and affordable equipment rental options. No experience? No problem—if your child can enjoy soccer or basketball, they’ll love the fast-paced excitement of hockey on skates.

Adult Hockey
An open, non-checking league at the Frank Southern Ice Arena for players of all skill levels. Full equipment is required for competition. A total of 10 league games take place at 8:45 p.m. on Sundays.

Bloomington Blades High School Hockey
A competitive hockey team of local and area players ages 14–18 yrs. Call 812-349-3740 or visit the Frank Southern Ice Arena to check game days and times.
Bloomington Blades Travel Hockey
Bloomington Blades Travel Hockey is designed for the more serious hockey player between the ages of 6–14 yrs. Teams play a schedule consisting of 25 home and away games. The program is open to all Blades and House Hockey players. Learn about the Bloomington Blades Youth Hockey Association.
Indiana University Hockey
The Indiana University Hockey Division II, Division III, and Women's teams are competitive clubs of IU student athlete hockey players who play against other colleges and universities across the U.S. Home games are played at the Frank Southern Ice Arena.
