Commission on the Status of Women Call for Vendors for Women’s Market

The Commission on the Status of Women invites local artists and entrepreneurs to participate in the 2026 Women’s Market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22, at Bloomington City Hall, 401 N. Morton St. Booths will be set up throughout City Hall, offering a unique opportunity to share and sell handmade goods, art, and other products. The event runs in conjunction with the Bloomington Community Farmers' Market.

Participation is free, but space is limited. Vendors are invited to register online for a booth space at bton.in/WM26. The registration deadline is 5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 3.

The Commission on the Status of Women was established in 1973 by a committee of local women leaders interested in closing the gender pay gap in Bloomington. These women wanted a commission to be chartered to investigate what barriers stood in the way of attaining gender pay equity at a local level and what opportunities existed to advance towards this goal.
