A Fair of the Arts

Shop for hand made art and fine crafts! Bloomington Parks and Recreation hosts a celebration of art and community with the sales, demonstrations, and displays of art and fine crafts by local and regional artists.

A Fair of the Arts takes place on the second Saturdays of the summer season, May through October in conjunction with the Bloomington Community Farmers' Market at Fernandez Plaza in front of City Hall, 401 N. Morton St. in Bloomington.

Call for Artists to Participate in the 2026 Season

Applications are available beginning Jan. 10, 2026. To receive full consideration, applications must be received by Feb. 13, 2026 at 5 p.m.

Bloomington Parks and Recreation invites local and regional artists to apply to participate in A Fair of the Arts, a juried arts and fine crafts fair. Accepted artists display, demonstrate, and sell their art during the monthly events.

A Fair of the Arts takes place on the second Saturdays of the summer season, May through October in conjunction with the Bloomington Community Farmers' Market at Fernandez Plaza in front of City Hall, 401 N. Morton St. in Bloomington.

There is a non-refundable $20 annual application fee in addition to a $60 booth fee per Fair. Artists are selected through a competitive jury process, and acceptance is not guaranteed.
