by ootFiber ArtsWeaving has certainly become a passion of mine and I don't think I would ever tire from weaving.  I love experimenting with different color combinations as well as new weaving patterns.  Sometimes I might even leave a mistake in my work(Native American weavers always did that) because my father told me that mistakes make it handmade. Any artistic ability I have comes from my father who called me oot so hence the business by oot.

Elizabeth Garland GlassGlassI make stained glass and fused glass art. I design each piece myself taking inspiration from nature adding my own whimsical touch! I hand cut large sheets of glass down to fit my design and solder them together before I add any final details like chains, wire, etc. For fused glass peices I put my design in my kiln where I heat up the glass to over 1200°F. I enjoy making art peices like suncatchers and more function peices such as refrigerator magnets, dish, and coasters.
