Temporary All-Way Stop Coming to Second and Walker Streets November 9

The Second Street Improvement Project continues to make steady progress on schedule, bringing crews closer to completing vital roadway, safety, and infrastructure enhancements throughout the corridor.

As part of the ongoing construction, eastbound traffic continues to be detoured to First Street while the roadway remains open to westbound traffic only. 

To facilitate the upcoming installation of a new traffic signal, an all-way stop will be implemented at the intersection of Second Street and Walker Street for approximately 30 days, beginning Monday, November 9. Motorists should use caution and expect brief delays in this area.

Drivers should follow posted detours and allow additional travel time while crews complete this phase of work. Construction timelines remain subject to weather and site conditions.
