Discover fresh, local farm products and unique handcrafted gifts from regional artisans at the 23rd annual Holiday Market. The Holiday Market takes place indoors and out, and is held rain or shine.

Fraud Alert

Artist or farm vendor booth spaces offered through comments on social media sites are SCAMS. Parks and Recreation does not sell advance tickets for the Holiday Market, and does not permit artists to transfer their booth spaces to others. 

Artists Wanted for the Holiday Market

  • Local and regional artists are invited to submit an application for consideration for vending space at the annual Holiday Market.

  • Apply to participate in the Holiday Market, or call 812-349-3700 to request an application. There is a non-refundable, $20 jury fee per application. To receive full consideration, applications must be received by Aug. 21 at 11:59 p.m.

  • If selected to participate in the Holiday Market, artists may choose an outdoor booth space for $60, or an indoor booth space for $70. Commissions are not collected on sales. Electric service is available at a limited number of spaces for an additional $15.

  • Applications are divided into 10 categories: clay; drawing/painting/photography; fiber arts; metalwork/woodwork; glass; jewelry; natural materials; personal care; recycled arts; and surface decoration. 

  • Works will be juried and artists selected based on the style and quality of work, price of work, and variety of artists.

  • All work for sale at Holiday Market must be original, and made by the applicant. Work must be safe, have a decent life expectancy, and exhibit quality of craftsmanship.

  • 12-1 p.m. TBA 
  • 1-1:30 p.m. - Constellation sneak peek of their holiday musical Annie 
  • 1:30-2:30 p.m. - TBA
