This project will reconstruct alleys in the downtown Bloomington area. This phase will reconstruct the four alleys between 6th Street, 7th Street, College Avenue, and Washington Street.
Project Timeline:
- Design: Summer 2020
- Construction: Late Summer 2020 through Spring 2021.
Maintenance of Traffic:
- Some sidewalks will have intermittent closures with pedestrian walk-arounds in place.
- Individual alleys will be closed to through traffic during construction.

Pre-bid meeting on August 20th, 2020 at 2:00 PM Local Time. Please contact Roy Aten at atenro@bloomington.in.gov for an invitation to attend this meeting.
Bid opening - August 31st, 2020 at 12:00 Noon.
The Board of Public Works received two bids and awarded the project on September 1st, 2020.
- River Town Construction, LLC, $984,247.50
- E & B Paving, LLC, $661,200.00 (Awarded)
